An example of INCDCP-ICECHIM successful technology transfer is the capitalization of research results within Innovation Vouchers, state budget co-financing projects.

INCDCP-ICECHIM (Service Provider) has achieved 19 such partnerships with SMEs (Beneficiary). The aim of this collaboration was the creation of innovative products and services on the basis of advanced technologies, support for the technological modernization and  SMEs innovation.

Innovative projects have been completed with the submission of 35 patent applications (including 15 patent applications EPO / WIPO) and the introduction in the market of 19 new products on the basis of innovative technologies:

• Products made from readily available starting materials, recycling and recovered byproducts / waste, ex. Restorative drink based on whey, Microelements proteins used as feed additives, food supplements or fertilizers, Organic solvent;
• Products that capitalize raw materials from renewable natural resources (vegetable oils, microalgae biomass) ex. Foliar fertilizer compositions with increased cuticular penetration Supplements for goats milk production biostimulation, Herbal tinctures extracted twice used in cosmetics and nutritional supplements; Products stimulating plant growth and improving resistance to abiotic stresses; Biopesticides; Gluten-free functional product on the basis of medicinal mineral water;
• Microbial original bioproducts ex. Biopharmaceuticals to remove carcinogens and carcinogenic compounds from soils contaminated with petroleum products, Composts activator for ornamental crops, Complex fertilizers;
• Competitive eco-compositions with improved features and applicability, ex. Organic compositions for use to control parasitic mites of melliferous bees, Bee nutritional supplements, Organic insecticides.

INCDCP-ICECHIM transferred technologies to the marketplace contributed to expand the range of products, increasing the internal market competitiveness and increasing their turnover. Profit value resulting from the exploitation in 2013 of the new products and technologies has exceeded 100 000 lei.

Another successeful story:

To support technology transfer of research results in a profitable way, INCDCP-ICECHIM, in partnership with S.C. ICPAO S.A. - Medias, has founded a company spin-off, S.C. SOLVAGROMED S.R.L. INCDCP-ICECHIM holds 90% of the total share capital through participation with a patent: RO 123027/30.07.2010 " Microbial composition useful in agriculture and its preparation process."

The company launched its activity in the fall of 2013 and works with technological equipment provided by the partner S.C. ICPAO S. A. – Medias, INCDCP-ICECHIM contributing by scientific and technological accumulated experience in order to capitalize its own research results.

S.C. SOLVAGROMED S.R.L. portfolio includes environmentally friendly products:

• Ecological industrial degreasers
• Soil improvers
• Foliar fertilizers
• Microelements protein supplements for poultry and pigs

Within the project PN 09.09.01.12, for placing on the market nitrogen fertilizers with minimal environmental impact, were performed at S.C. SOLVAGROMED S.R.L. research & experimental development pilot activities to scale-up two INCDCP-ICECHIM technologies:

• granular nitrogen fertilizer technology
• liquid fertilizer foliar technology

At the request of the economic agent, these technologies have been the subject of the technology transfer contract between INCDCP-ICECHIM and S.C. SOLVAGROMED S.R.L.
