The next four years, ICECHIM strategy is based on Europe 2020 strategy. The Innovation Union flagship initiative launched on this occasion provides:

• Reorientation of RDI policy towards the major challenges
• Reduction of the distance to science at market, to transform inventions into products

In this context, ICECHIM technology transfer strategy is focused in increasing capitalization of research results by developing ICECHIM -Technology Transfer Center. .

Thus, for the period 2012-2015, technology transfer activities will be supported in the following areas:

• CTT-ICECHIM institutional development, with financial support by national and international programs;
• Training and development specialists in technology transfer through participation in specialized courses of management, intellectual property, brokerage, marketing;
• Increasing the level of information by creating a specialized database with network access;
• Technology assessment based on pre-feasibility study and promotion of the most valuable research results in accordance with updated market studies;
• Developing specialized service activities in technology transfer: consulting, technical assistance, audit, vigilance and technological forecasting;
• Promoting and protecting Industrial Property Rights;
• Participation in TT scientific meetings to increase national and international visibility;
• Creation of partnerships, development of interest groups for the transfer of products / innovative technologies to industry and the formation of consortia in national and international projects;
• Integration ICECHIM and CTT-profile organizations and networks in the EU.

Over the next four years, INCDCP-ICECHIM will pay particular attention to increase the efforts to stimulate public-private cooperation and technology transfer by developing a demand-driven approach to innovation.
